The 4th Annual Grant Hill Memorial Golf Tournament hosted at Cherokee Ridge Country Club was a smashing success, exceeding our goals and raising $156,775 for Kids to Love (KTL) Grant Hill Trauma Team. Funds will help expand youth mental wellness care at the Mark C. Smith Wellness Center. 56 Teams competed over the 2-Day event with over $13,000 in cash and prizes awarded to tournament winners and drawing winners.

Day 1 Flight 1 Winners – The Twickenham Financial Advisors Team 1 dominated the field, with a -22 under par score performance. Winning Team Award recipients included Christian Gannon, Michaela Luck, Cason Westmoreland, and George Prueitt.

2nd Place Awards– Tyler Hudson, Colton Miller, Will Chumbley, Brett Westbrook

3rd Place Awards – David Cain, Cade Finley, Philip Cain, Chad Beverage

10th Place Awards – Lily Hall, Elliot Boyd, Sam Cooter, Will Doherty

Day 2 Flight 2 Winners – The Freedom Real Estate Team recorded a smoking hot -24 under par score and are recognized as the overall tournament winners for both days. Winning Team Award Recipients included John Roberts, Jared Dailey, Trent Trousdale, and Sam Lee.

2nd Place Awards– Greg Jones, Jim Buford, Ryan Buford, Wayne Strickland

3rd Place Awards – Alan Bibb, Tyler Bibb, Blake Talley, Drew Talley

10th Place Awards – John Shaw, Brandon Shaw, Kip Aaron, Brian Barlow

Day 2 Flight 3 Winners – The FITE Construction Team were declared winners after recording 5 eagles on the first 12 holes, before the final flight was called due to escalating bad weather. Mr. Pete Sands (CRCC) was gratuitous to grant all players each a CRCC Free Round of Golf Pass. Winning Team Award Recipients included J. Robert Fite, Hunter Johnson, Wally Terry, and Sammy Dean.

2nd Place Awards– Patrick Bannister, Cole Batson, Jim Batson

3rd Place Awards – Mike O’Mealy, Mark Maclin, Chris Lovoy, Tim Mayhall

10th Place Awards – Justin Bensigner, Jeff Osborn, Jack Yan, Matthew Meyer

50/50 Drawing Winner – The Winner of the $1680 drawing was Rachael Fleischman. Rachael received half of the drawing and with a round of applause donated back all her winnings ($840) to Heather Carlton (KTL Team Lead).
