Grant Hill Memorial Golf Tournament Raises $100,000 for the Kids to Love Smith Family Wellness Center

We are incredibly thankful for all our sponsors & golfers that made this year’s 2nd Annual Grant Hill Memorial Golf Tournament such a fantastic success.

Thanks to your generosity, we contributed $100,000 to Kids to Love this year. The proceeds from the event benefit Kids to Love’s Smith Family Wellness Center in honor of Mark C. Smith. The center is currently under construction and will be home to the Grant Hill Trauma Team.

This year’s tournament included 150 players and honored Grant Sanders Hill, a former All-American football player at Huntsville High and a 2014 Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team SEC Champion. Grant played at Alabama from 2013-2015 as an offensive lineman and won multiple awards while playing at Alabama.

Grant Hill had a Masters in Psychology and Counseling Education and was working toward a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology when he died in a tragic hunting accident in October 2021. His dream was to establish a counseling center to help young adults and athletes struggling with depression, addiction, and trauma.

Thank you to all who gave and participated. You are part of the incredible story being written to see this dream come to life. We look forward to seeing everyone next year. Below are our event leaderboards and photos for you and your teams to enjoy.
